English: Stephen Max "Steve" Thompson (born 1944) is an American politician. Thompson is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives since 2011, representing the eastern portions of Fairbanks and eastern suburbs of Fairbanks such as Badger and Steele Creek. Thompson was also mayor of the city of Fairbanks 2001–2007, and is also the retired president and CEO of a small business operating throughout the Fairbanks area.
